At the 7th International Conference on Smart Energy Grid Engineering (SEGE), August 12-14 in Oshawa, Canada, Mr. Artem Schumilin received a Best Paper Award for his contribution “Semantic CIM2Matpower: Ontology-Based Network Topology Processor and Converter for CIM Node-Breaker Models”. The IEEE-sponsored SEGE conference aims at providing an opportunity to discuss various engineering challenges of smart energy grid design and operation by focusing on advanced methods and practices for designing different components and their integration within the grid. Co-authors of the work are Hüseyin Kemal Cakmak, Karl-Uwe Stucky, Clemens Düpmeier and Prof. Veit Hagenmeyer (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology).
