The second online workshop in the “FlexBlue. Connect” series, which will take place online on February 25, 2025 from 15:00 to 16:30, will discuss issues relating to the flexibilization of cooling supply systems. Participation is free of charge and is aimed at all players in the value chain in the cooling sector.

The project “FlexBlue – Flexible cooling supply systems against the backdrop of increasing decarbonization” is investigating the technical and economic feasibility of flexibilization through storage in the cooling and heating sector.

As scientific consortium partner, the IAI within the Simulation and Visualization (SV) research group from the Energy System Integration (ESI) research area will be working on the design, implementation and evaluation of two demonstrators to investigate the functionality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of flexible cooling and heating supply systems.

FlexBlue ties in with the preceding project “FlexKälte” within the IAI.
