Manuel Treutlein was awarded 2nd place in the “Energy Campus 2024” ideas competition for his doctoral project. At a symposium at the High-Performance Computing Center (HLRS) in Stuttgart on November 29, 2024, the prize was awarded under 35 doctoral students by the foundation “Energie & Klimaschutz”. Every year since 2011, the foundation has honored young scientists who are working on shaping our energy future and the environment. Manuel Treutlein is supervised by Prof. Ralf Mikut and Prof. Veit Hagenmeyer and is researching the topic of “Machine learning methods for load estimation in the low-voltage grid using metadata from distribution system operators”.
