Luca Deininger was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 14th edition of the “Annual Scientific Symposium on Ultrahigh Field Magnetic Resonance: Clinical Needs, Research Promises and Technical Solutions”. The symposium was held Sept. 8, 2023, in Berlin at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association.
The paper, titled “Imaging Mini Brains: Artificial Intelligence for High Field MRI of Cerebral Organoids” is dedicated to the first application of magnetic resonance imaging for non-invasive quantification and quality monitoring of brain organoids using an AI-powered analysis pipeline.
