We congratulate PD Dr.-Ing. Markus Reischl on his appointment as Extraordinary Professor (apl. Prof.) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Mr. Markus Reischl is head of the working group Machine Learning for High-Throughput Methods and Mechatronics (ML4HOME) in the Research Area of Automated Image and Data Analysis (AIDA) at the Institute for Automation and Applied Informatics. He received the Venia Legendi in 2017 after submitting his habilitation thesis Eine umfassende Methodik zur automatisierten Auswertung von bildgebenden Hochdurchsatzverfahren. The certificate of appointment as an apl. Professor was presented to Mr. Reischl by Dean Prof. Proppe during the mechanical engineer's day on July 17, 2020.
