Mr. Friedrich Wiegel was awarded with the Best Paper Award 2018 at the 6th International Conference on Smart Energy Grid Engineering (SEGE), August 12-15 in Oshawa (CAN) for his contribution "Cross-Media Mesh Networks for Smart Home and Smart Grid Applications". The SEGE conference aims at providing an opportunity to discuss various engineering challenges of smart energy grid design and operation by focusing on advanced methods and practices for designing different components and their integration within the grid. Co-authors are Prof. Gerald Oberschmidt (DBHW Karlsruhe) and Prof. Veit Hagenmeyer (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology).
